Academic Advising

All Barnard Computer Science majors are assigned as a major advisor a full-time faculty member from Barnard's or Columbia's Computer Science department.  If you are a declared CS major and don't know who your major advisor is, you can find that information in Barnard's WebAdvisor system, under the Advising tab in the "Student Planning" section.

Students wishing to declare a major in Computer Science should obtain a Major Declaration Form.  For access to the electronic form and instructions on how to complete, see https://cs.barnard.edu/declare-cs-major.  The major adviser can assist students in planning a program focused on personal interests while meeting major requirements.
